Regular care has three parts: water balance (pH and chlorine checks), filtration (pump and filter cleaning) and surface/floor cleaning. With heavy use, weekly checks plus a thorough service at season opening and closing are recommended. Automatic dosing and control systems reduce this workload to a minimum. The most common causes are an upset pH balance, insufficient filtration and disinfection, and excess organic load. The fix: bring pH into the 7.2–7.6 range, clean the filter and run it long enough, and apply shock chlorination with a clarifier (flocculant) when needed. If it keeps recurring, the circulation design should be reviewed; our technical team diagnoses the cause on site.
